Carrie Cramer is a special breed of mom, so to speak: She’s a dog mom. And like many dog moms, she wears her love on her sleeve. Or, in her own case, around her neck. “I wasn’t a crazy dog lady until I got Atticus. He was a gift from an ex just weeks before a messy separation. Every morning for a few months, I forced myself to get up, walk the dog, and try to be upbeat and positive for my new puppy,” Cramer said. “Pets are very special to us, so why not have a fine piece of jewelry that can represent that? Mothers wear their children’s names on their neck and this does the same, but with your fur baby.”
