If your button-front corduroy skirt (à la Alexa Chung) has seen better days, it’s time for an upgrade. This time around, the skirt du jour skips out on the buttons and replaces them with an equally graphic zip. You’ll have the same easy, graphic design feature but with a little bit of added edge.
Stores are fully stocked with a slew of options, especially if you’re feeling extra moto-happy. Vinyl and faux leather are reigning supreme when it comes to the zip-front, but there are plenty of options out there (denim, anyone?) for anyone not feeling like part of the Lady Harley crew. Thanks to the zipper’s hard line, pairing the skirt with an oversized knit or decidedly un-sexy things such as sweatshirts and oversized button-ups adds a major dose of cool.
