Cos entered the United States market in a big way. The Swedish brand opened up two shops, one in Los Angeles and one in New York, bringing its unique take on contemporary fashion to shoppers simultaneously on the West and East Coast. The shops have been open for a few months now, and to celebrate the success of the double opening, Cos has enlisted two directors to celebrate the spirit and creativity of each city. For Los Angeles, the brand brought in Petra Collins, known for her all-female work, for a dreamy, laid-back look at the city and the way it influences the musicians and artists that call it home.

Entitled Drive Time, Collins’ video takes viewers on a relaxed trip through the city, seen through Collins’ signature grainy visuals and saturated hues. Soft focus camera work and ’70s inspired cinematography show off the city’s iconic hills, the skyline and more. Drive Time stars fashion muse Cherry Glazerr, musician Clementine Creevy, artist (and real-life couple) Erin and Sam Falls, It-girl and Rookie mag contributor Arrow de Wilde and her mother, the music photographer Autumn de Wilde.

The all-female cast wears select pieces from Cos’ collection, which are in-store now in both the Los Angeles and New York locations, as well as online, so viewers can shop the videos right from home or visit one of the brand’s stores.

And while Collins’ video captures the laissez-faire L.A. attitude with the city’s street traffic and a colorful cast, Cos enlisted Aaron Rose for its New York Video, The Bubble, which reinterprets Peggy Guggenheim’s artistic salons and the 1959 Beat film Pull My Daisy. Both short films not only showcase the brand’s sleek duds, they also reflect the attitudes and artistry in each city. Watch Drive Time, Cos’ Los Angeles film, below:
