After all, it’s not the first time this concept has been tried in L.A. But Au Fudge, a restaurant and marketplace on Melrose Ave., has managed to pull it off perfectly. Inside, you’ll find plenty to love, whether you’re looking for a cocktail or mac ‘n’ cheese. The kids can explore a treehouse or partake in a drum circle under the tutelage of an Au Fudge Au Pair.
“People are enjoying it, kids are loving it, and families are happy, and that’s what we care about,” Biel told Delish.
Don’t get distracted by the bakery case, which is chock-full of cookies, cupcakes, and, yes, fudge, because the menu is definitely not something to be missed. And the marketplace, fully stocked with kids’ toys, home goods and more, is a definite must-visit for kids big and small!
